Thomas KenneyHighly effective, life-changing care for severe dry eye! Dr. Azman at the Dry Eye Center of Maryland provided excellent medical care by getting to the root of my severe dry eye symptoms. He identified a combination of factors, including active demodex, Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), and post-cataract surgery issues. Our approach was gradual and multifaceted: Phase 1: Tea tree eyelid cleansing and Lacrifill treatment to slow down tear evaporation. This brought dramatic initial improvement. Phase 2: A four-course regimen of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy. I have completed three of my four IPL sessions, and the results are incredible. Nicole ForbesThe absolute best eye Dr to go to!!! Went to other eye drs with no resolution. Then found Dr Azman and IPL treatments. The best thing you can do for dry eyes/mgd is go to Dr Azman and get IPL. My eyes are restored! When I came to him I was in bad shape. My tears were rolling down my face all day long. I was losing hope. Dr. Azman said I could go off the Rx drops another dr had prescribed. I don’t need them. He did 4 IPL treatments which is the best technology for mgd and I feel great. He used the IPL to treat rosacea around my eyes and face as well as my eyes so that the rosacea didn’t migrate up to my eyes. The treatments are anti-aging for your skin as well so there is multi benefits to getting this done. I definitely needed it for my eyes and that was just an extra added benefit. Dr.Azman is caring, easy to talk to, as well as the absolute best in his field!! This will be the only Eye Dr that I go to for now on.Posted on Google
Karen BakerI have been suffering from dry eye for more than a decade and I have been receiving treatment for severe Dry Eye for the past year by my regular eye doctor. My symptoms did not improve whatsoever and actually continued to worsen over the year. Finally, I googled Dry Eye specialist in Maryland and fortunately Dr. Azman’s name popped up. Within one minute of meeting with him, he diagnosed exactly what kind of dry eye I have (there are different kinds and they have very different treatments). My previous eye doctor did not tell me this and I was actually receiving the wrong treatment for my particular dry eye. Dr. Azman knew exactly what to do for me and administered gel injections at my first appointment. This treatment made a huge improvement immediately. Two weeks later, I started IPL lid therapy and again noticed significant improvement right away. If you have been to several eye doctors with no success, your search is over. Call Dr. Azman and I’m sure he will be able to help you too. My results have been life changing, seriously life changing! I am thrilled with my progress so far. I highly recommend him.
