About the Dry Eye Center of Maryland
Dr. Benjamin Azman was trained at the State University of New York College of Optometry and is currently the Medical Director at the Dry Eye Center of Maryland and Co-Director of Contact Lens Specialty Services. Dr. Azman has experience in both private practice and hospital-based settings. He completed a rotation at the Perry Point VA Hospital in Perryville, MD, where he examined, diagnosed, and treated hundreds of patients with dry eyes.
At the Dry Eye Center of Maryland, Dr. Azman specializes in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of dry eyes and related ocular surface disease. Through experience, medicine-based expertise, compassion, and state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Azman has successfully helped thousands of patients who were suffering from dry eyes. He is passionate and meticulous about his work and is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to all of his patients.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland Dr. Azman is married with four children. With his father, Dr. Thomas Azman, and uncle, Dr. Irwin Azman, they built a solid partnership in caring for dry eye patients. Dr. Benjamin Azman specializes in the prevention and intervention of dry eye syndrome and ocular disease through the state-of-the-art technology, experience, medicine-based expertise, and compassion. Dr. Azman has successfully improved the lives of patients suffering from dye eye syndrome and contact lens intolerance and discomfort.

Dr. Richard Adler board certified ophthalmologist
Dr. Richard Adler is a board certified ophthalmologist, renowned for providing his patients with compassionate care and excellent outcomes.
Dr. Adler graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and was a member of the University Scholars Program. After graduating from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Adler went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins. He subsequently completed a fellowship at Wilmer in Corneal, Refractive, and External Disease.
Dr. Richard Adler is board-certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. In addition, Dr. Adler is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Adler, with advanced fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease, brings a wealth of expertise to our practice. He specializes in the comprehensive management of Dry Eye Disease and various Corneal diseases. Dr. Adler performs a range of treatments and procedures for Dry Eye Disease, ocular surface diseases (OSD), Blepharitis, Demodex, and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. Additionally, he offers cutting-edge vision correction procedures, including LASIK and Refractive Lens Exchange. His extensive knowledge and experience ensure that patients receive the highest quality care for their eye health needs.
Dr. Adler is a nationally recognized speaker on topics related to eye disease and currently lectures practicing ophthalmologists and optometrists on topics related to Dry Eye Disease on a weekly basis.
